Duracet 682

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Duracet 682 is a self-reactive polyvinyl acetate emulsion. Due to its crosslinking capability, Duracet 682 forms stiffer, more insoluble films than conventional polyvinyl acetates. It is suggested as a binder in applications, such as SMC sizings, where stiffness is needed. Duracet 682 has a very consistent and stable particle size distribution, which allows good control of the pickup rates on fiberglass, resulting in uniform LOIs.
